If you thought that the off-season is quiet from October to March, you’ll be disappointed. Apart from about two weeks after the season that I spend with my family on the West Coast and some time off around Christmas, it is non-stop. Analyzing the past season and preparing the new one together with the team. Regular physical and mental training. Meetings and events with partners and my personal team. Media interviews. Testing for the new season of course, and Daytona!
And this year as we work with our partners, there is a new project that excites me as I have a passion for house renovation/remodeling. With Clopay, who is one of our team partners and also one of the very best in garage doors, we designed new garage doors together to keep my beauties cozy in the garage! The process is well underway and since I am so impressed with how easy and smooth the process of ordering new garage doors is, I wanted to share the experience with you.
It all starts with the Clopay Door Imagination System. Available on Clopay’s website, it is a super easy tool that helps you find the garage door design that works best for your home. You start by uploading a photo of your home and trying on different doors to see which fits your style. I am a very visual person, so the Door Imagination System really helped me to make the right choice. I never thought there were so many ways to design a garage door! The most difficult part for me was choosing the right color.
Before ordering the garage doors, Clopay Master Authorized Dealer RCS Garage Doors came to my house to take measurements to ensure we chose the correct product to fit our existing garage. I met with Mike who was incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions and walked us through the whole process from beginning to end. Once the doors are delivered, it only takes a day and a half for Mike’s team to install the door, and they take the old doors away to dispose of them properly. Super easy! And once the doors are installed, all I have to do to keep them shiny and new is wash and wax them a couple of times a year.
I can’t wait for the doors to be installed and I will make sure to show you what they look like!
