The 2020 Indy ticket featuring Simon Pagenaud
Jan 30, 2020

On January 28, in downtown Indianapolis, USA, community members and media gathered to celebrate the unveiling of the 2020 Indianapolis 500 ticket featuring Simon’s likeness. A secondary ticket was made in honor of Norman, Simon’s dog, who also attended the event.

“It’s so incredible to see this photo on the ticket because this was the exact moment it sunk in to me that I had actually won the Indianapolis 500. You get pulled in so many directions right after you win the race that you don’t get to feel the magnitude right away. This was truly the best day of my life, and I’m honored to have my family Hailey and Norman here with me today to see this.

Team Penske gave me the absolute best car in the field last year, and I have been beyond honored to represent our sport as the 2019 Indianapolis 500 champion. Thank you to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for continuing to make me feel so special.” — Simon Pagenaud
